In form apprentice Sarah Bonner will claim once again on the son of Discorsi. Expect the four year old to settle in the leading trio.
R2 CITY OF KALGOORLIE BOULDER SOCIAL CLUB MAIDEN 1200m 1:20

The Hallowell Stud owned MISS SINGAPORE (4) has been sent to Kalgoorlie for her fifth start today where she will find this assignment much easier. The three year old finished midfield last start when boxing on one pace in a midweek event at Belmont Park. The first leg of the Quaddie is over the short course. The Gary Bowen trained MU MU LAND (10) looks a beneficiary of the rail being out. The speedy type should burn the front from barrier three. The four year old sat prominent last start when going down a length. Rickie Brown’s stable has hit form and MISS JUPITER (6) looks one that can keep the success rolling over. R5 helloworld CRUISE & TRAVEL HANDICAP 1300m 3:49
The fifth on the card has several chances engaged. The George Grljusich trained
GRAND REWARD (6) was sensational last start when finishing second. The five year old was forced to sit wide throughout and made up considerable ground which most others on the day struggled to do. Expect Clint Johnston-Porter to settle the galloper midfield today before unleashing a solid sectional. PARIS OF TROY (1) is one that will enjoy the drop in class. The Williams trained galloper
was disappointing last start when leading early and capitulating in the run to the line. THE CRUEL SEA (2) is well suited to the 1400m. The Blackfriars four year old has drawn well. Last start winner MISS KITWE (8) should not be discounted.
R6 CITY OF KALGOORLIE BOULDER MAYORAL CUP 2140m 3:38
Punters who follow the local racing scene will be excited to see the sixth on the card with the leading horse of the year contender stepping up to unchartered territory. TAHGEO JAY (5) has been mighty impressive this preparation winning five races this time in from nine starts. The chestnut was dogged when holding off his opposition last start. There is a slight query with the gut buster he sustained seven days ago but he is the form horse. ADRICAT (4) has previously been kept to middle distances over his career. The Delago Brom gelding has been hitting the line in good fashion at all of his starts this preparation. KRONFELD (2) faces a big step up in distance with his last run over the 1400m. The five year old hasn’t won beyond a mile but handed in some good runs during September last year. Last year’s Tatts Cup winner GET ROUND IT (3) steps up to a suitable distance today.
