Hospitality And Tote

Hospitality

Approved managers, bar attendants, receptionists, and cleaning
Approved Manager certification is required for all Approved managers. All hospitality staff are required to hold a current RSA certificate.
Cleaning staff

Current Available Positions (2) : 

  1. Bar staff – Approved Managers, Bar Attendants, and Trainees.
    • Casual employment for Race days and various other functions.
    • Good conditions, majority of events are weekends mainly Sundays.
    • Must have an RSA
    • Police clearance
    • Reliable and hard-working
    • Customer focused.
  2. Receptionist / Admin Assistant.
    • Part-time (25-30 hours per week) with flexible hours
    • Microsoft Office experience required
    • Need to be; Very organised
    • Able to work autonomously, but in a team environment.
    • Customer and Team centric.

Tote

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • RWWA Compliance Certification
  • Must have previous Cash Handling experience
  • Must be able to cope in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Be of smart and tidy appearance
  • Gaming /tote experience preferred

Please note: Tote staff must have RWWA Compliance Certification (which can be obtained after the application has been successful).

Barrier Attendants and clerk of the course

Barrier Attendants
Barrier Attendants work behind the starting gates leading the horses into the barriers and keeping control of the horses. Must have experience in handling horses and racing experience preferred.

Clerk of the Course
Assist Jockeys with getting their horses to and from the barriers.  Must have a suitable gelding available to perform Clerk of the Course duties.

Track And Grounds

Track Maintenance, Facility Maintenance

Current Available Positions (2):

1. Track & Grounds Manager (Turf Manager)
Are you experienced in management or looking to take the next step? We’re seeking a Track & Grounds Manager to join our team!

  • Permanent or 12-month contract option
  • Good remuneration package based on experience
  • Accommodation available
  • Turf management experience required
  • Experience with reticulation and irrigation
  • Operation of relevant turf equipment

2. Yardie / General Hand

We are looking for a motivated individual to assist with the general preparation of functions and events.

  • Casual (30-35 hours per week) with some flexibility around hours
  • The role could move to permanent
  • Must be fit and healthy, as there are physical tasks involved
  • Forklift license required (or be prepared to obtain one)
  • Honest and reliable
  • Able to work autonomously
